Piranha is a genus of aquatic insects that live in the rivers and lakes of the Americas, Europe, and Asia. They are aggressive, and will attack and eat each other. The piranha are so named because they feed on the blood of other animals.
In The Pigo, the hero is a young adolescent and mildly neurotic piranha with an anger management problem. He is the one who has to save his family from the harsh world of the swamp. The other characters in the game are much older and more experienced. They are the ones who know how to survive in the swamp.
Piranha are the most important character in the game. They are the only one who are able to eat the "slow"worms.
The slow worms are the most nutritious and best-quality food. They provide the energy needed for the hero to survive in the swamp.
The other characters need energy to survive. They are also able to eat the "speed"worms, which give them a speed boost.
The speed boost provides the ability to score additional bonus points if the hero survives this crazy slalom.
